Getting to Discovery Place on Train 73:
- Ride train 73 departing Raleigh station at 6:45am* with stops at Cary, Durham, Burlington, Greensboro, High Point, Salisbury, Kannapolis & Charlotte
- Train 73 arrives at Charlotte station at approximately 9:55am*

- To get to Discovery Place, catch CATS (Charlotte Area Transit) bus route #11 North Tryon St. Bus stop is located across the street from the station on Tryon Street (look for sign). Buses run every 15 minutes.
- Ride route #11 bus to North Tryon & 6th Street bus stop. Discovery Place is across the street and down about a half a block.
- Pay exact one-way fare of $1.75. Driver has no change. (CATS round trip bus tickets available on line at www.ridetransit.org) One-way fare for kids 5-12 years old is .85¢. Kids under 5 years are free.
Getting Home from Discovery Place on Train 76:
- To get back to the Charlotte Amtrak station, walk across the street and down a half block to catch the route #11 bus at the North Tryon & 6th Street bus stop. Buses drop passengers off at the bus stop in front of the station. Buses run every 15 minutes.
- Pay exact one-way fare of $1.75. Driver has no change. (CATS round trip bus tickets available on line at www.ridetransit.org) One-way fare for kids 5-12 years old is .85¢. Kids under 5 years are free.
- Ride Train 76 departing Charlotte station at 5:15pm* with stops at Kannapolis, Salisbury, High Point, Greensboro, Burlington, Durham, Cary & Raleigh.
