Winston Salem Connector Logo

The Winston-Salem Connector Shuttle service meets morning trains 73 & 80 and evening trains 74 & 79. The service travels between downtown Winston-Salem and the High Point Amtrak Station.

Cost: $2 one way. Pay the driver when you board the shuttle.
Exact change is required.

Purchase train tickets one of three easy ways:

  • Book online at Amtrak.com
  • By calling 1-800-USA RAIL or by calling from red reservation phones at High Point, Salisbury, Kannapolis, Burlington, Cary and Selma stations.
  • Walk-up window sales at Charlotte, Greensboro, Durham, Raleigh, WIlson and Rocky Mount.

Baggage:

  • There is no checked baggage service at the High Point Amtrak Station. Train passengers are limited to 2 carry-on bags (up to 50 lbs. each).
  • Carry-on limits do not apply to purses, briefcases, laptops, car seats and strollers.

Parking:

  • Free parking is available for Winston-Salem Connector customers in the One West Fourth Street parking deck at Liberty and West Fourth streets. (Entrance is on Liberty Street.)
