The NC MULTI RIDER ticket lets you travel anytime and saves you 10-15% off the lowest ticket price. Buy one ticket for 10 or 6 one-way rides for travel between paired-cities within North Carolina on the Amtrak Piedmont and Carolinian trains.

No reservations required.
Just present your ticket to the conductor and climb on board.

Promotional Details
* Pass must be used with same city pairs each trip. (i.e. if passenger purchases a NC Multi Rider ticket between Raleigh and Charlotte, they can use the pass for travel only when boarding for trips between Raleigh and Charlotte.)
* Passes are valid 6 months from date of purchase. Good for in-state travel on the Piedmont or Carolinian only.
* NCMulti Rider tickets are NOT transferrable. Passenger must show photo ID when using a multi-ride pass.
* Customers may purchase a 10-ride ticket (price reflects 15% discount off lowest fare) or 6-ride ticket (price reflects 10% off lowest available fare).

Purchasing NC Multi Rider Tickets
* On sale at Amtrak-staffed stations along the Carolinian/Piedmont route: Durham, Charlotte, Greensboro, Raleigh, Rocky Mount and Wilson.
* Call Amtrak at 1-800-USA-RAIL (872-7245) with valid credit card.
Ask for Fare Code UMNC for the 10-ride ticket OR
Fare Code UMN6 for the 6-ride ticket
* Purchase a NC Multi Rider ticket using the QuickTrak machine (Raleigh station).

Note: Passes cannot be purchased online.

Everyday Savings
Students
Student Advantage Members save 15% on most Amtrak rail fares to anywhere in the US. Good ALL YEAR LONG, ON EVERY TRIP. Call 1-800 96-AMTRAK to enroll or visit Student Advantage page on Amtrak's web site.

Children, Seniors, Disabled adult
Up to two children age 2-15 travel for half fare when accompanied by an adult. One child under the age of 2 travel may travel free with each paid adult provided the child sits on the adult's lap. Senior citizen (age 62+) and disabled adult discounts (15% off lowest fare) are available seven days a week.

Veterans, Active Duty Military
Active duty military receive 15% discount on most trains. Veterans receive 15% discount with Veteran's Advantage card. Visit Amtrak's Veteran's Advantage page to learn more.
