This work will be completed by July 2nd. We appreciate your patience. Pease see the Detours & Updates page for detour route information.
Why is this Project Necessary?
The Back Creek Church Road Highway/Rail Crossing Improvement Project is necessary to improve the railroad crossing at Back Creek Church Road, as well as to enhance the roadway areas adjacent to the crossing. The overall project goal is to improve the safety of motorists, rail passengers and train crews by reducing prolonged traffic back-ups that extend over the crossing.
At times during the project, Back Creek Church Road may be closed to traffic; the detour route will include McLean Road. Click here to learn more about the McLean Road Improvements Project.
